The brief
Phase and Pulse Technical Services needed a new website that could scale with the business — self-hosted, fast, and able to support day-to-day enquiries alongside a proper client area.
Choosing the right platform
A booking system and a client login area both had to sit cleanly inside the new site, so platform choice mattered more than usual here. We reviewed the options with Phase and Pulse and helped them settle on a self-hosted WordPress build, because it was the route that let us:
- Integrate with the booking system they already used for scheduling jobs, rather than forcing a switch
- Add a secure client area where customers can log in and track their jobs
- Keep hosting and running costs predictable, rather than paying ongoing platform fees
Beyond the website
Since launch, we've also designed a logo and flyers for one of their events — what started as "build us a website" has grown into an ongoing design relationship. Watch this space for more developments.
